Resources West Inc is a community economic development agency tasked with stimulating the economy of Western P.E.I. In order to complete its mission, Resources West is involved in the following activities:
- Entrepreneurial development and training
- Community planning and support
- Project management
- Business consultation and support
- Research and development
Resources West is governed by representatives of the five community development areas of Tyne Valley, Tignish, St. Louis-Miminegash, Alberton and O'Leary. The organization also has representation from Business, Agriculture, Tourism and Fisheries sectors.
