Resources West Inc. is a community economic development agency tasked with stimulating the economy of Western P.E.I.
In order to complete its mission, Resources West is involved in the following activities: 

Entrepreneurial development and training
Community planning and support

Business consultation and support
Research and development

Resources West is governed by representatives of the five community development areas of Tyne Valley; Tignish; St. Louis-Miminegash; Alberton; and O'Leary.
The organization also has representation from Business, Agriculture, Tourism and Fisheries sectors.
